Had an unwanted guest in the Pigeon coop this morn. Not a huge fan of Raptors, as my livelyhood depends on my Pigeons theyll hunt; but Ive always tried to keep in mind they are what they are, do what they do, just be cautious of not flying birds when they are out and about and offer my birds any protections from natures cycle I can. Ive always loved listening to the lonesome and mournful song of an Owl in the evening and have been listening to this guy or gal for some time now this Spring and Summer, off the back deck in the evenings. Not really sure HOW he managed to get through the trap door into the coop, but he did and I hope he doesnt come back; Id hate to have to call and get a local Raptor/Falconer group to relocate him, as then Id miss hearing him/her singing their lonely song. It only took one bird, so pardon is granted. Larry Krumrine, keep it on your side of the ridge ;-)
