Had another busy weekend with the Marching Mohawks! Sat in the freezing cold weather Friday night at the football game selling fleece scarves, hats, and head wraps that I sewed. The table was coated with ice when we packed up! We did well, I ended up selling down to 5 pieces remaining. Saturday it was off to competition again. Our band competed with 6 others in their class, it was big. No trophies, BUT, we qualified again for State with a superior rating! Band members snatched up the remaining fleece items and we collected almost $260 for all of it. I wasnt sure it would sell, but the cold weather sure helped, people were asking for more! Glad to know a simple skill like sewing can still be of some value! CONGRATULATIONS to the MARCHING MOHAWKS! Next weekend.... State Finals!!!!!
