Had fun checking a few prices at the grocery store in Seldovia while we were there! Eggs ~ $7.00/a dozen ~ grapes $16.00/a pound ~ tough sledding when you have to fly or ferry everything in! $145.00/RT for the ferry (walk on only) if you want to go do your own groceries in Homer (runs 2x day) ~ have to pay for freight also on the return trip, not just your ticket! But the town is absolutely gorgeous and had such charming appeal. I feel lucky to have gotten to visit!
