Had kind of an interesting appointment today. Ultrasound went perfectly, as usual! I had my NST done afterwards and my OB noticed that I was having contractions during it. I didnt even realize it! Which is good and bad, because I wasnt feeling any pain, but bad because Im not aware I am having them! She said to really watch for them and if I notice I am having them often, to come on in! Now that I have hit the 34 week mark, if I got into labor or my water breaks, they wont stop it! We would deliver that day! She checked me and my body isnt progressing so that is a good sign. I asked what the plan is after Leah is born as to the care she will need to receive because of her enlarged brain ventricle. She said we will meet with either a neonatologist or a Pediatrician and they will most likely just do an ultrasound of her brain, but usually no more than that is needed. So hopefully everything goes smoothly with that and Leah will continue to progress normally. So now the real waiting game begins! Lets hope Leah is more patient about making her arrival than her older brother was!
