Had my distance runner Matt L., do some running today. Mostly sunny - temp. 79 degrees & a 25-30 mph wind coming from the North going South. Told him we were going out for a run (he has been competing in the 5K), so today he ran on the side of the highway - with me driving slow behind him (with flashers on). Guess I forgot to tell him how far we were going! He did his first non-stop 10K in :58.10.3 !! The first half was into the wind too. I am so proud of him. He has certainly turned into a good athlete, along with his teammates (on the Blair S.O. Team). Way to go Matthew L.!!!
