Had my first day at work! Here is a review (this will be more interesting for my TRU friends). 1. Back of house is... UPSTAIRS. and it is so big they have toooooooons of empty space everywhere. 2. We got 11 credit card sign ups and it wasnt a big deal. 3. Customers are soooo nice here. They dont cut you off while you are speaking and they reply politely. 4. We have brown paper bags and they cost 10 cents each. 5. If you sell any big ticket item and the guest is leaving with it, you must stamp the receipt with a stamp that says taken followed by the stores address. So guest cant claim they did a delayed pick up but we know for sure they took it. 6. The forced me to take a 15 minute break even though I had already taken a lunch. I fought it but they got all weird about the law. 7. Pretty much the entire store lay out is different. For example, leap pad is no where near Juvy or books. And the wheels department is in the middle of the store. The middle!! If I think of anything else I will let you all know. Overall I had a pretty good first day.
