Had my first impromptu cheat meal today. I didnt plan it. Last night, I got the worst cravings Ive had since I first started this diet. Ive had no soda (except for a sip of Coke Zero three weeks ago), no french fries, no ice cream, and no cookies for 34 days. Ive also had no red meat except for the occasional beef jerkey. I realized that I probably just needed a cheat meal to get it out of my system so I had all-you-can-eat sushi. I ordered mostly nigiri and there wasnt much rice, but the last volcano roll really did me in. As a result, Im going to work out extra hard today and have a very small dinner. The hardest part about getting sushi today was the no soda. I wanna have a cheat meal where Id just get a burger and fries and a soda, or a giant piece of steak, or some Korean BBQ, but I still dont think Im ready to do so yet because thinking about how badly Id feel afterwards is becoming a natural deterrent, which is probably a really good thing. There was no point to this status really other than the fact that I felt compelled to share my progress after Id written so much about it the past month.
