Had one of the BEST trips to Target late afternoon today. Sisters or best girl friends were in the same aisle as me (IRONICALLY it is the wine aisle...AND also the Juice aisle...so I was there for...well, BOTH). These snazzy dressed ladies were in their 60s and as one is reading off the different blends and oh, this looks good! the other is on her cell talking to her grown child excitedly asking about his recent trip to Nashville and did he have a good time, and has he talked to that girl that he recently took on a date and has he asked her out again (I take it his answer was no) b/c mom immediately said, Oh, ok. Well, did you meet anyone interesting in Nashville? and then she adds, And did you find it to be one hopping town? I could not wipe the smile off my face as I left the juice aisle even though I wanted to stay and listen to the conversation just a little longer...and then it hit me and I started to cry...made me miss my sweet mom so much! Took me everything I had not to hug that adorable momma in Target today!
