Had some great conversations yesterday while I was down at what will be Lesley Fountain Studio, painting the walls. A woman peeked her head in, saw me on my knees in my crappy painting clothes, and asked me if she could take my photo. ? I said sure, and she did. Then she asked me what the space was going to be and I told her - a working artists studio with drop in sessions and scheduled workshops. And twinkly lights. And music. And chocolate on tap. She got so excited she almost dropped her camera! She called her friend over, said I knew there was a reason we came here today and both of them are planning to come to one of my weekly drop in sessions. I really believe that if you do what you are meant to do, events that may seem to be random (and are not) will offer themselves up to you. Then it is your chance to grab them and run with them! I am so excited to be creating the space I have talked about for 20 years. Sometimes it takes longer than you think. And thats okay! :)
