Had such a FANTASTIC time at #ToledoPride today! Met some really nice people, got information for quite a few great causes that I hope to volunteer with regarding community health and equal rights, saw some wonderful performers on the main stage, and acquired a killer sunburn (worth it). The roommates and I may have found a church, too! Its a Unitarian Universalist church down in Bowling Green. They dont preach for a specific faith; they stress growth in personal spirituality, whether that be Christian, Jewish, Pagan, or anything else. Their teachings draw from many faiths to form a very humanist and respectful outlook on life. I picked up one of their pamphlets with a sermon in it, and I cant wait to go! Oh, and they have a choir! All in all, feeling really great, even if Im sore and crispy!
