Had the chance to meet some great people in Carrollton, Michigan today. was talking to them about a proposed development on 2.59 acres next to the Skyway Plaza on North Michigan Road. Developer wants to build a brand new Convenience Store / Deli offering Groceries, Beer/Wine & Liquor, Fresh Made to order Brick Oven Pizzas, Salads, and Sandwiches (Dine-In, Take Out, or Delivery) and maybe even Gas Pumps in the future. One Problem; the township changed the zoning from commercial to residential a few years ago. In October they will be petitioning the Township Taxpayers to change the zoning back to commercial and allow this developer to build this +/- $300,000.00 store and hire a dozen new employees. What do you think Carrollton Township??
