Had the distinct honor to officiate the vow renewal of a sweet couple from PA who are celebrating 50 years this week. (Hence the collar I do not normally wear, but it was requested) We did it on the pier at my beloved Sandy Cove. Set up by my first wedding customer Rebecca Sue Head. Met some nice people tonight. Ill post more pics. Very nice family. Then, I had one college boy come up to me while I was waiting & was talking to me. I mentioned I grew up @ Sandy Cove & I used to play mini-golf where the hotel now sits. The college age boy, who I must admit knew his facts, replied wow the hotel was built in 87, you remember back then? Yes, I am that ancient. Earlier today, I saw my first ever boss--Nancy Wells. I was her assistant & the test proctor for the Nursing Department at Cecil. They treated me so well. Nancy was Cecils first employee & did not retire until just a little while ago. Its nice running into friends from long ago.
