Had the most wonderful 9/11 experience today. Went to visit a friend in the hospital, and ran into a veteran leaving the hospital with his therapy dog. Both in complete gear conveying their past experience and present service. This veteran served in Afghanistan, and suffered with PTSD. His beautiful, gentle great dane, Tank, was certified for PTSD, and is able to detect and protect his veteran during anxiety attacks. Tank circles the vet and moves others away with his body. Todays hospital visit was surely a treat for the patients they came in contact with. It was a treat for me!
