Had to call the police this afternoon. Four neighborhood teen/preteen boys have been little terrorists lately, breaking windows, damaging property, wrecking the equipment in the park across the street. Today we caught them in broad daylight: wrecking the teeter-totters, one pulled his pants down to expose himself and another threw a rock at a neighbors house. The cops came -- three cars. The kids were found, thankfully! The cops escorted them back to the house and made them clean up the side of the house and talk to that neighbor man. Not sure if anything else was done, but I so, so hope this is the end. I sort of doubt it in my heart, though. The kids know (because they saw us talking to the police) that we reported them. Just never know with kids today if they will straighten up at such a point or retaliate.
