Had to make a quick stop on MBU with kids along this morning. As we walked by I pointed out the room that Oliver was born in. He smiled, then got very serious. And where did they take me? I kind of wordlessly gestured to the NICU door across the hall. Quietly he squinted through the window on the door then turned back to me visibly upset. I dont like that place. I missed you And then I fell apart in the middle of that hallway in MBU. I honestly dont know if the wounds made in those 12 hours will ever heal completely.
