Had to repost. Thank you Donna Pollard-Burton. I woke up this morning thinking about how lop-sided this world has become. I read more people caring and freaking about Ukraine and around eighty people dead there but people still living in their homes, running water, general ifastructures still working but three years of civil induced war that has destroy a whole nation, killed over a hundred thousand and displaced about two million and well no one is worried about them....Until this post, I thought my neighbors had been nearly forgotten. The ancient cities and antiquities of the three monotheistic religions have been desimated. The humanitarians here have helped but I dont pat my government on the back. I dont pat the U.S. or Russia on the back either. Jordan, Lebanon havent helped calm things down. Jordan did take about a half million but they didnt want to. Meanwhile the Ukraine gets all the current media,...sad. But thank you for remembering. Thank you for caring enough to post this message. The lack of care and education to this generation of Syrians will cost the world a heavier price then they realize.
