Had to say goodbye to an old friend yesterday. Took him almost 10 hours to pass; It was painful to watch as it seemed there was no where for him to go and no one who wanted him. I guess some types are not appreciated down here in the deep south of Florida like they are in the west. Seems that the lack of mountains here gives no one an appreciation for his ability to climb or forge a river, nor were they interested in the strories he and I made together. Yes, If it isnt obvious, I loved my truck and trading him in was a bit of torment for me but then today my new mistress of the highway is well...plain gorgeous. At the end of the day, we did find a good home for my truck and now I can park without moving cars :)
