Halal Choices I am NOT the leader of the Boycott Halal in Australia facebook page. I am not an admin of that group. I do not have any input to the page. I occasionally share posts from the page. The gross misrepresentation of me and Halal Choices is staggering. Chris Johnston from the Age and Channel 9 have a lot to answer for. They have proven to be negligent, incorrect, misinformed, misleading, unprofessional and harmful to myself and my family. Do NOT believe something because it is written in the paper or shown on TV! Halal Choices is about choice - that is why the name was chosen. We provide information to consumers who want it about the halal certification status of products. The decision in how to respond is left to the consumer. We dont lead boycotts or focus on boycotts. We occasionally share what is happening with boycotts but we are primarily about choice! We research the industry and provide information about corruption, deception and lies and allow the general public to respond as they see fit.
