Half of my studies as of late have been in the ecology range and with that I have been thinking about the environment a lot. Im concerned about the bees. We lose 30% of our bees every year! though the bee farmers have begun to change that a little. Not only does this effect our food across the world, but will effect ecosystems as a whole. Insects are very critical to ecosystems. And as always, I am concerned about the carbon footprint and global warming. There my not be much we can do as warming trends are normal, but we are making it worse. One way to assist both the bees and the carbon foot print is by planting. Planting flowers and trees (also going vegan but I wont lecture on that right now hahaha). I want to do something. It wouldnt have to be formal, maybe with a group who already does this, Im sure they exist out there, but something. Im sure there are laws, Im sure there are permits and I would want to plant in logical places, where the plants will flourish and where the bees will find the flowers. So my question to you is, are you interested? We could make it a weekend trip, maybe just once a year and plant. Flowers and trees. If I find out the necessary info, who would want to take part?
