Half way through: Pakistan military is now the most popular institution in Pakistan, and they deserve that to be because our political class has failed to perform its duties again as usual. Our political class doesn’t understand situation and the crisis that Pakistan is going through which is really serious and need proper attention. It is not the time of election rigging audit neither time for metros and highways, but rather reforms are needed. Pak government believes that they have fulfilled their responsibilities by making 21st amendment in constitution and allowing military to establish military courts for speedy trial of terrorist. In these courts most of those people would be trial who do attack on defense and governmental officials and institutions. Today it has been 1 month to that deadly incident of Pishawar attack, but unfortunately no solid thing has been done yet by government of Pakistan which was elected in 2013 elections. The inseriousness of government is visible since the very 1st day when after APC All party’s conference 17-12-2014, Prime Minister was cracking worthless jokes and thought it was some kind of funny incident. He may be pretty happy when Imran Khan ended his sittings in Islamabad on the pressure of Gen Raheel Sharif. After that it took whole 2 dam weeks to decide how this 21st amendment is going to come in assembly and cenit on the other hand our religious parties who never played productive role for Pakistan, they seemed reluctent to vote for this. With great pain we now have to admit that most of liberal class, which is considered to be most educated class, they arent standing with nation. Topic Half Way Through is related to Pakistan army. Pak army never wanted to be a part of politics and we examined that when PTI and PAT sittings were there in Islamabad and government was too week, on the other hand P.T.V.2 created such envirement in which a army chief who has such intention would go for Marshal Law but quite surprise how Gen Raheel brought his institution out of that difficult situation and emerged as a great leader/hero. His vision is very clear and he knows what he has to do. That was the basic scenario I wanted to provide you. My point is we see here that after Pishawar attack political class failed, public was, and still is emotional, definitely anybody would be because of that situation. How brutal attack that was, no religion allows that kind of attack on children. However Gen Raheel emerge as hero again when he took strong stand and went to Afghanistan the next morning with ISI chief, arranged meetings with president of Afghanistan, showed the proves that India is involve in this attack through Afghanistan. He really kicked Nawaz ass. The incompetence of civilian leadership once again fails to understand and to provide solutions to this issue. Competent military leadership took all powers slowly that nobody in Pakistan has any reservations on that. These few parties, ankers, loyers, judges, journalist, civil society, infact all so called well wishers of Pakistan dont matter a bit when journal public is in favour of military courts. Although, it isnt long term solution but in short term we are compel to take this extreme step. What we have to do? Definitely in long term military courts arent solution, to meet our requirements we should make our policies stronger, such as foreign policy, 1st of all we should appoint any foreign minister at least. Prime Minister or Army Chief cant go everywhere themselves. Reforms should be made in educational system although it isnt really bad but it should be up-graded, IB better be used for identifying terrorist not your political anomies, journal awareness should be made and proper annalysis should be made for intelligence reports. Police should be reformed and free from any political pressure or political directions, if police is fine then you can easily defeat terrorists. I know my above paragraph sounds like a dream but we should do those things and they can only be done if capable and competent people are in the power. They should have enough confidence that they dont at least hesitate to take bold steps. If everyone agrees on terrorism that it should be ended then so why the government is so reluctant to show its mussels to terrorists? Comments::::::: #Beast
