Hall of Fame announcement is on Tuesday. (If last year is an indication, the Bonds/Clemens voters tend to be more likely and the Lee Smith voters are less likely than the average voter to volunteer that info before the announcement.) We currently stand to see Randy Johnson, Pedro Martinez, John Smoltz, Craig Biggio and Mike Piazza all enshrined, with Jeff Bagwell falling a tad short. Mark McGwire, Sammy Sosa and Don Mattingly will be waiting to see if theyll still be on the ballot next year. Its gonna be a backlog-clearer.
