Read and wax your ears for better sound: What do you hear? Read and digest it; allow your taste buds to work: what do you taste? Is it sweet or bitter? Read and let it saturate your system: What do you feel? Are your senses alive? Read and allow your nose to pick some scents: aha! What do you smell around you? Is it fragrance or stench? Read and digest. Eat and digest, dont vomit it . Halleluya God is Love and love is patient, Love is kind It does not envy It does not boast It is not proud It is not rude It is not self-seeking It is not easily angered It keeps no record of wrongs Love does not delight in evil but Rejoices with the truth It always protects Always trusts Always hopes Always perseveres Love never fails... Shall we pray Precious Lord, thank You for Your reminder this morning. Thank You for calling us to re examine our walk with You and what better way to do this than to focus on Your character. Two cannot walk together unless they agree. We cannot claim to be your people yet our genetic make up is totally alien. We cannot claim to be walking with You like Enock when our character traits dont match Yours. Precious Father, today help us to have a restored focus. A focus that is steadied on love. A focus that foregrounds heavenly counsel. A focus that is driven by You. We are aware that this journey home is not based on our power or might but on Your Spirit. Your Spirit of love conquers all. Your Spirit of love never fails. And as a people who are destined to be more than conquerors, help us not lose the all important trait: LOVE. Because without LOVE, we have lost everything and all we are left with are empty shells making unnecessary noise all over. I dont want to be a stupid noise maker. May the noise i make be fruitful and solidly founded on love. So be it in Jesus name...
