Hamza Ali Abbasi very thoughtful views you have had in the past - TopicsExpress

Hamza Ali Abbasi very thoughtful views you have had in the past few days about the western version of freedom. First of all, what happened in Paris was a cowardly act by men who have no idea about Islam but tend to practice it in the name of God. We all know Islam does not allow you to kill anyone if they mock the Prophet of Islam cause the Prophet himself never personally avenged those who mocked him, God, or the new religion he was preaching nor did he allow anyone to do so. In fact he was told to not even make fun of other peoples faith as they might make fun of his God in return. Surely, your God is almighty and he loves his prophet more than you, bringing me to the point that he can very well protect the image of his messenger if he has promised to protect the message he brought to mankind. Hence, you have the right to get upset when someone mocks your religion but you have no justification for any Muslim going ballistic because the western version of freedom is flawed. If someone mocks or insults your prophet, pick up the same medium as Islam teaches you an eye for an eye and state the true facts about the same prophet they are mocking so in their opinion your prophet is a respectable man and not a subject of mockery. Furthermore, the 2 billion Muslims you had stated in your original status, most of them would like to move or have already moved away from those so called Muslim states cause they were either being suppressed or not given basic human rights. If you ask for examples, then you just need to walk outside the door and see Islamic State of Pakistan today, where sectarian violence is at its peak and tolerance is nowhere to be found. In fact the country is ready to hang a minor if they mock Islam as stated in the Blasphemy Law. Have you forgotten what happened when Salman Taseer spoke against this blasphemy law. Today you can stand in any western world and the law will protect your religious rights. United States, the biggest Satan as we all know, through its First Amendment in the US Constitution gives its people the flawed version of freedom and also guarantees religious freedom. Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. It is indeed the biggest Satan in the world, but not the best one out there. There are other countries, rulers and people who beat the western world in Satanism! In Pakistan, you cant even speak against the root cause behind TTP and extremism, the religious figures that are making a joke of Islam and politicians that squeeze the public for good, not to forget the Peshawar attack because in the state of war they openly kill innocent children. May I remind you what Maulana Aziz of Lal Masjid said to the protesters outside? Now if such Muslims are telling the world how Islam is, what else do you expect Charlie Hebdo to do? And mind you, they may just be mocking the prophet of those terrorist that you and I both condemn. Your issue was brought to Mark Zuckerburg and respects for him when he apologized in public for it. But you are now doubting Facebooks policy, regarding the removal as intentional and Marks apology being insincere. Have you forgotten that the same prophet you are getting upset about taught you to never doubt anyones intention just like how he never questioned the hypocrites and accepted them as Muslims. dawn/news/1156536
