Hands On Hibs Statement Only a few short months ago Hands On Hibs were formed to campaign for change at Hibernian FC. Our objectives were to see the football club moved towards community ownership and to see Easter Road Stadium and Hibernian Training Centre owned by the football club. HOH welcome todays statement from the Board of Hibernian Football Club. We believe it represents the basis for agreement between the Board and Hibernian supporters. Hands On Hibs commend the Board for the constructive manner in which this process has been conducted. Open communication is the key to partnership and we appreciate the dialogue the Board has maintained with Hands On Hibs. This statement is a huge step forward for Hibernian FC. While we recognise the devil is often in the detail, Hands On Hibs believe this is the basis for agreement. It takes big people to recognise the need for change. Hibernian Chairman, Rod Petrie, and owner, Tom Farmer have embraced the case for change. They have crossed the Rubicon. All Hibs supporters must now recognise this new reality and act accordingly. Now is the time to put aside disagreements and to engage positively in this process of change, as Hands On Hibs have done throughout. There now exists broad agreement on the direction of travel. We intend to continue to work with the Board and other supporters and the wider Hibernian community to get this deal over the line.
