Hands up if you think this stinks! £1.2 million to contractors to complete Derby City Councils process to re-grade (cut pay) employees, after Derbys Corporate Director of Resources was suspended. Presumably, this is on top of the money already spent with another consultancy firm in the previously failed process that is alleged to have breached the new contractors intellectual property rights.
