Hannah asks so my son is going to be in kindergarten this year and we have been looking at schools. We cant seem to find a fit for him in fact we were even told today that our son was not intelligent enough for a certain school, that he should be focusing on life skills because obviously he wont be going to college and this was by the principle at that school. I was livid to say the least, but it brought up an important question: is there a school for my son as he falls right in the middle he is too high functioning for a behavioral school but cannot be put in a regular school around here because they are inept in dealing with Autistic kids.
