Hannah just finished up with physical therapy around 1. She is physically and mentally exhausted. Today marks the one month anniversary of the event that has restricted her in many more ways than just getting up and walking. She was given a list of exercises to continue so that her muscles dont forget about her. We still have nine more weeks of her being non weight bearing which means she cannot put any weight at all on her legs and feet. Once that time is up, she will begin working on walking again with intensive therapy. Today we talked about what that means for her. Looking at her, I see the small frightened little girl who is so scared, but I also see the young woman who is extremely determined to get her life back. I do believe that she will have an amazing testimony to share when all of this is over. We appreciate each one of you in different ways and we are thankful for each one of you who continues to keep Hannah in your thoughts and prayers. I cant wait until she can WALK into my bathroom again and get into my makeup 😃. I wont correct her on it for sure ( even though she has much more to choose from ). I know Its difficult for her having other people put her on the potty chair and dress her. Shes 15. We dont take things for granted anymore. Not even standing on our own two feet. You all have been a blessing. Keep praying ~ The Winks
