Happening at KSC today. The Orion spacecraft has moved, and it’s a big deal! Today, Orion was moved from the Neil Armstrong Operations and Checkout (O&C) Building to the Payload Hazardous Servicing Facility (PHSF). The Lockheed Martin-built Orion spacecraft will fly aboard a commercial United Launch Alliance Delta IV Heavy rocket on the upcoming Exploration Flight Test-1. The PHSF is hosting Orion for the loading of hazardous ammonia and hydrazine, while GSDO will utilize the ground support equipment it designed to perform the spacecraft ammonia servicing operations.
