Happens too often here. I stopped traffic on Krome Avenue the other day to get a dog off the road and out of harms way. The dog walked around me and climbed into my truck. He sat down like he belonged there and then looked at me like...Well, lets go! I got in the truck and did a U turn and headed for my vet (with a very big dog breathing on my neck). I got a loop over his head but had to lift him out of my truck. He walked nicely on the leash and seemed very happy to meet my vet and his staff. Covered with ticks and fleas, bad skin infection, intact male about 90 lbs (still underweight), about a year old, very friendly. My vet said he appears to have been out for a long time and he doubts anybody will be looking for him. So many dogs get dumped in my area. I named him Chuck for now and will be looking for a job to pay his bills. He is worth every penny and he is safe now. I understand this woman...how can you just pass them by??????
