Happy 14th birthday to my miracle baby!!! 14 years ago I had a uterine rupture while in labor with Corrina. I lost 5 pints of blood and Corrina was not breathing. I will forever be grateful to Dr. Ronney Purvis (who in my opinion is the best dr in the whole world) for saving Corrinas and my life that day! He still calls her the grinch baby because he had taken his kids to see that movie when they called him back to the hospital. The doctors were going to send Corrina to UAB because she had been on the ventilator and still wouldnt breathe on her own. They told me she would have brain damage and never be on the level of other kids. They just didnt know my God had different plans! My God has a reason for Corrina Lauren in this world! My baby is a completely on her level and makes good grades in school. She loves sports and plays softball at school. You never know what God has in store. Prayers work miracles! I am proud to have been chosen to be her mother!! I love you Rina Nina!! Happy birthday!!!!!
