Happy 24th Birthday Blessings to Nicole & Michele ~ Remembering how excited our family was when you joined our family @ age 21 months. I remember hanging a note (paper plates worked well - something representing food usually draws attention) on the front door requesting people entering, NOT to talk to the cute little blond girls running around, and please dont even make eye contact with them! I was wondering if the screaming was ever going to cease! And it worked - you warmed up in your own time - (both needed to control/initiate contact) THEN came preschool ~ each new step in your lives created difficulties but we WERE able to get through them. Nicole & Michele, you were worth the challenge. Myron arrived months prior to you - it totally was like raising triplets with the three of you the same age & school grades. I also recall one year a new teacher thinking there were triplets ~ OH, such a surprise!! Enjoy your special day and remember this Thanksgiving season, your adoptive mom has always been thankful for the gift of your presence in our forever family! You are loved
