Happy Australia Day, everyone! As a part of this celebration, I thought it would be nice to share a wedding I filmed in Sydney, Australia. Alex and Winnie met in Sydney, fell in love in Sydney, got married in Sydney and built a life together in Sydney. They both think Sydney is the best of all places there is in this world. It’s the city that captured their hearts and led them to each other. Their family and friends flew in from all over the world for their wedding and there isn’t any better occasion for a reunion than to witness two people tie the knot. I haven’t done many non-Indonesian weddings as much as I would like, and that’s why this one was pretty memorable for me. I like that despite having built a life in Sydney, Alex and Winnie didn’t forget where they came from. I like that they still had the typical traditions of a Chinese wedding, and I like how they combined it with a bit of an Australian influence. It was a colorful wedding indeed - culture wise. Well, for our readers in Australia, I hope you have a wonderful Australia Day! Drink beer, watch footie, or whatever it is you guys do to celebrate your day. I personally love your country. I cherish every moment that brings me to the land down under and I enjoy every minute I get to spend in your country. Your cities and your people are warm and amazing.
