Happy Birthday Greg. Where have the years gone? It seems like only yesterday your Mother thought I should feed you your first solid food. You thrived and soon you were fascinated by your Grandmothers piano. Next thing I knew you were playing duets with your Mother. We shared good times at the Beach in Santa Cruz, trips to visit your Grandparents and cousins. Trips to Knots Berry Farm, Disneyland and the Worlds Fair in Seattle. I remember taking you and a carload of your classmates to Mt. Hamilton when you were in Jr. High to spend the night looking at the wonders of outer space through the giant Lick Observatory telescope. Then we were off to Alaska where you starred in the High School music program. Next you were working in Governor Hammonds office preparing to head off to college. The night before you left for Standford your Mother and I drove out to Lena Beach with you and we watched the sunset over the Chilcat Mountains. We knew a very happy chapter in our lives was coming to an end and a new one was about to begin. Next you were off to Australia for a summer and after graduation you headed for China to work with the Chinese Church Research Center. We missed seeing you for an extended period of time but we were proud of the work you were doing. We also missed seeing you for months at a time when you later went to Japan to work. There are so many more memories of times together like our family vacation in Hawaii and a special Christmas at Sea Ranch. You have blessed our home and been a son to make both your Mother and me very proud. Happy Birthday!
