Happy Columbus day!! Today, we celebrate the feats of a cannibal! One who eats people? Nay, but one who consumed the lives of the indigenous people of the Caribbean and America. A man who sought to find India and landed an entire continent early. Trudging through the land he enslaved the native people of America, carefully calculating how full his pocketbook would be upon returning to the great land of Spain with able-bodied men. How great is the man who discovered America! With the Wetiko psychosis running deep through his being, this man slaughtered, captured, and sold living beings in the names of God and gold. Relishing at his marvelous feats, we make rhymes that start, In fourteen-hundred and ninety-two, teaching the children that he is a hero of sorts. After all, there is a federal holiday to commemorate him, is there not? Oh, what a joyous day it is to be an American! Some bankers, store-owners, and teachers enjoy the day off just to relish in an infinite amount of sales and specials! Woe is he who does not take advantage of such deals, and woe is he who is unpatriotic enough to denounce such a glorified holiday. Three cheers for Cristóbal Colón!!! Hooray to Columbus!!! Hooray to the cannibal!!! Hooray to the Wetiko psychosis!!!
