Happy Driver Appreciation Week: Unlike many other professions, drivers aren’t always able to see their families at the end of the work day. Being on the road definitely has its perks, but for families this can be tough at times. Spouses and parents are away from their family which gives us a big reason to appreciate drivers for their hard work. While not all truckers have the luxury of being home every night, the great news is technology allows truckers to interact with their loved ones on a daily basis. The Internet and platforms such as FaceTime and Skype give drivers a chance to see and speak to the ones they care about. Nevertheless, they’re taking time away from home to fulfill their trucking duties. Everyone at Miller Transfer & Edwards Transfer would like to extend deep appreciation for our Drivers and their families not just for National Truck Driver Appreciation Week but every day that they carry that torch and make our team a success.
