Happy Eid everybody. The fast of Ramadan is over and its time to feast. I wish peace for all in the Middle East. Certainly there is a long way to go. I hope people will be mindful of the words of the prophet Mohammed, who came to bring version 3.0 of the god of the Levant: The recompense for an injury is an injury equal thereto: BUT if a person forgets and makes reconciliation, his reward is due from Allah. [Quran 62:40] (!) I hope all Muslims in the middle east will ignore their leaders urging war and heed the words of their true leader urging peace and reconciliation with those who have injured them! It is time for the cycle of violence to end.
