Happy Fall, yall! We are having a nice stay in Bear Cove. On a less positive note, we have had to call the Sheriff again on the same trespasser, the third event. We have heard of many instances where his truck was parked on our property when were not here, both before and after we have told him to leave. He tells people we gave him permission to hunt wild lettuce in Bear Cove. WE DID NOT GIVE HIM PERMISSION, he is trespassing. Please call the Sheriff. His name is Jeremy Stanberry, he is tall, in his thirties, slender, and drives his grandmothers red Dodge Carolina pickup truck. Today he was wearing camouflage clothing and argued loudly with Tom when he was asked to leave. He had parked in our driveway AGAIN, with us obviously staying here. Is there something wrong with this person?! Tom called him off verbally using the words No Trespassing! and instead of leaving Bear Cove he drove further up the road, parked in front of Judy Mulkys two NO TRESPASSING signs across their chained and locked driveway and hiked up past her house. Two deputies showed up, saw his empty truck parked at the bottom of the drive and left. We are getting pretty frustrated by this!
