Happy Fathers Day!! Another great week for our awesome group, 18 adoptions!! :) Kittens: Luke, Garrett, Roger, Badger, Tulip, Pru, Abagail, Flufferjacks, Loozle da FaDoozle (twice!) Cats: Tatum, Rose, Koshka, Baby the Bengal Puppies: Maxine, Cooper Dogs: Calvin, Slim Shady, Scrat Maxine got adopted on her first adoption event outing, and within 30 minutes of us setting up!! Koshka came to us scared and timid after living in an abusive situation. It took several volunteers several months (Sheri, Donna, Dawn/Mike) to get her confident and happy again, but we did! After several weeks of adoptions and being in adoption centers, we worried that maybe she wasnt ready yet, but her family just hadnt come in yet. She is now happy and safe in her forever home!! :) Scrat (new name: Desert Dog) is a cute min-pin originally rescued from Fort McDowell Casino. A few of our volunteers were doing a fundraiser there and a few employees mentioned that this pup has been living in the parking lot. Of course they let her hang out and she then worked the fundraiser event and helped us to get a few more donations to help our furry babies!! :) Well this weekend was finally her turn to find her forever home and her new family is spoiling her like crazy!!
