Happy Friday!! Big changes in my life!! Hold on to your hats and sit down!!!!! I have officially retired from Holland Christian Schools. Without going into much detail, a few things have happened over the last few months, issues at school(2 parents), the retiring of my best coworker Bob Holwerda and my health that have prompted me to retire. I have been praying about this since Bob retired. I am at peace with this decision and it really was time to bow out. God still has a plan for me and I am just waiting for my next assignment. I have weathered lifes storms before and will come out of this in a positive way. Maybe God just wants me to take it easy, who knows. I will miss the kids and staff the most and I will miss the community that is Holland Christian. I have met thousands of students and even more parents over the last 12 1/2 years all whom I think of as family. I always have and will continue to treat every kid as if they were my own. I am weighing all my options at this point. My health has gotten the best of me. I may start drawing a partial pension from the Teamsters and other places I have worked along with picking up some side jobs here and there. One very good friend has encouraged me to start my own handyman business seeing there isnt much I can not fix. I have always wanted to do the Storage War thing and sell off on E-bay. This is going to be the best time of my life, except raising my kids, and the little time I have left I want to make the best of it. Well have a great Friday.!!!
