Happy Friday Firm Women of God! I was talking to a friend of my complaining about my weight. My friend commented You dont look bad you just need to firm up. The word firm would not leave my spirit therefore by way of the Holy Spirit we declare today as. Firm Foundation Friday. Firm is defined as ;Resistant to externally applied pressure. Marked by or indicating the tone and resiliency of healthy tissue. Firm muscles. Securely fixed in place. Despite being hit by the car, the post was still firm. 1 Corinthians 15:58 goes on to tell us Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. This confirms that God is not a wishy washy God. He does not want us to live a life of uncertainties. He does not want our feelings to be all over the place. He doesnt want our beliefs to be up and down here and there. Everything thing about God, his word, his promises, and his desires , his actions, his people and his plan for you is firm. He is not all over the place about his plan for your life. Therefore we must be firm and require the same from those we are connected with and allow to be a part of our lives. Our marriages, friendships, and relationships should be firm. We should not constantly have to worry about where we stand with anything or anyone. How is your foundation? If its built on sand its time to lay a new foundation, let it settle, and then start building. Building on a wet foundation will cause cracks and shifting!
