Happy Friday! I have to share this great story from my friend, Corinne Kimi Wyatt. You never know how much little acts of kindness can make a difference! Corinne wrote, Remember a few months ago when I posted about tipping a carhop $6 on a $4 bill at Sonic? She was the older gal who had few teeth but a great spirit? Anyway, I saw her today when I stopped for my usual order. She came RUNNING out to me! Short story: she took the tip I gave her & bought scratch-off tickets & won enough $ to have dentures made! She looked wonderful! She told me today was her last day, that having a pretty smile gave her the confidence to look for another job, & she was hired as a receptionist. She told me that because of me, she finally understood what it meant to feel pretty. I burst into tears. She burst into tears. I felt so happy for her, & even happier that I didnt give any mind to the mean old lady who berated me for over-tipping. Isnt that wonderful? A nice lady is doing better because of tiny $6 tip.
