Happy Halloween! Going out trick or treating can be such a challenge for people with vision loss and night blindness. And for those with hearing loss - a lot of darkness and masked faces makes it impossible to lip read. Even giving out candy is difficult for us RPers - fumble around trying to find all the open bags to put the candy in, accidentally ignoring the open bag or hand still waiting for a piece of candy, trying to recognize your familiar neighbors because theyre in consume and its so dark out there, etc. For the first time in my seven years as a homeowner, Im skipping Halloween....no real reason why, but I wont miss these stresses.
