Happy Halloween! October 31st means different things to everyone. For me it was the day that changed my life forever. Becoming a mother is something that changes who you are, the way you think and act and opens your heart to even move love than you ever thought possible. The day I held Nick Geisler in my arms is the day I became a better person for so many reasons. You want to become a great example for your children, but I have learned so much from Nick that makes me a better person. When Nick was in 5th grade something happened between him and a friend that showed his character and how trustworthy and honorable he was. Even though a friend betrayed him and it would have been easy to betray that friend in return, he showed his character and kept his friends secrets and forgave his friend. From that day on I knew anyone who entered his life was going to find a wonderful person and a great friend. Nick you are and always be a blessing in my life and my Great Pumpkin. I am so proud of you and proud to have you call me Mom. As grow and enter new stages of your life discovering who you are..... always have confidence in yourself and know that you can do anything you set your sights on. Happy birthday Nick, I love you so much.
