Happy Halloween, Samhain, All Hallows, Day of the Dead, or whatever you celebrate tonight, even if its just TGIF! For many this is not just a night to run around collecting candy, but is a time to reflect on the contributions of their ancestors to their lives in the present, the veil between this world and the next is thinnest this night of the year, and thus those who have passed on are lifted up and celebrated. Children act out their fantastic dreams, and sweet treats are given my kind neighbors (some they may have never even seen or spoken too). Its really one of my favorite days of the year.
