Happy Holidays From your friends at Indian Health Care - TopicsExpress

Happy Holidays From your friends at Indian Health Care Resource Center Dear Friends, As the holiday draws near and we face the winter months before us, we are often reminded of those less fortune. So many Tulsans are homeless, food insecure, or working poor. The plight of these individuals tugs at our heart strings and we reach out during this season of giving. This holiday season, we would ask that you also remember those living with diabetes, cancer, heart disease, and other chronic illnesses. Were it not for the services provided through Indian Health Care Resource Center (IHCRC) many in our Native community living with chronic illness would be among the homeless, the food insecure, and the working poor. The choice between food and medication or a home and health is not a choice anyone should have to make. At IHCRC we firmly believe this and that is why no one is denied health care because of inability to pay. By joining the the Society of the Medicine Wheel, you will help us provide more than 135,000 health care visits each year. You will be an integral part in filling 175,000 prescriptions each year. You will help us improve health, and literally, change and save people’s lives. I invite you to click on this secure link right now (ihcrc2moons.org/Society) to join the caring individuals who have already become part of our Caring is Strong Medicine team. We are also available by phone (918-382-1203) should you have questions or choose to donate by phone. Thank you for helping to ensure that our Native community never has to choose between health and home again.
