Happy Hump Day! . “You Learn” After a while, you learn the subtle difference between holding a hand and chaining a soul. And you learn that love does not mean leaning, and that company does not mean security, and you begin to learn… That the kisses arent contracts and gifts are not promises, and you begin to accept your defeats with your head held high and your eyes open, and you learn to build all your roads on today, because the field of tomorrow is too uncertain for plans… and the future have its way of falling apart. And you learn that if it is too much of it even the heat of the sun can burn. So you plant your own garden and decorate your own soul, instead of waiting for that someone to bring you flowers. And you learn that you can really endure, that you are really strong, that you are really worth, and you learn and learn… and so on.. each day. With the time you learn that if you are with someone just because he offers a good future , sooner or later youll want to return to your past. With the time you understand that only those who are able to love you with your shortcomings can give you all the happiness. With the time you learn that if you are with someone just because you are lonely , irredeemably youll end up not wanting to see that person. With the time you learn that true friends are rare and those who do not fight for them, sooner or later, will be surrounded only by false friends. With the time you learn that the words spoken in anger will still hurting during an entire life. With the time you learn that anyone can ask and give excuses, but forgiveness is an attribute granted only to great souls. With the time you understand that if youve injured a friend hard is very likely that the friendship will never be the same. With the time you realize that even though you can be immensely happy with your current friends, you will always miss those who are gone. With the time you realize that each experience, with each person, is unique. With the time you realize that those that humiliates or despise others, sooner or later will suffer multiplied the same humiliation or disparagement. With the time you learn to build all your roads on today, because the path of tomorrow does not exist. With the time you understand that hasten things and forcing them to happen fast causes that at the end they are not as youd expect them to be. With the time you realize that in reality the best was not yet to come or in the future, but the moment that you were living just at that precise moment. With the time youll see that even if youre happy with those who are close to you, you will miss those who left. With the time you will learn to forgive or ask for forgiveness, to say that you love , to say that you miss, to say that you need, to say that you want to be friends, because once you are in front of your tomb, nothing makes sense any longer.
