Happy Labor Day! We hope all the students enjoy this last day of vacation. We have a couple of notices for tomorrows half day schedule; please share this so as many people as possible see it! School starts at 8:10 and is dismissed at 12:00. If you are dropping your kids off, you can do so starting at 7:50. Breakfast will be available at that time. We are not, however, serving lunch tomorrow. At SHS we go through a 7-hour schedule tomorrow (about 30 minutes per class). AM Career Center students will go to the Career Center tomorrow on the bus at 8:10. They will return by 9:49 to attend 5th-7th hour. PM Career Center students are to be in attendance with us for 1st-4th hours tomorrow, but they can sign out (with parent permission) at 10:18 AM once 4th hour concludes. There is no PM Career Center tomorrow. PM Career Center students who do not sign out should report to the library for the start of 5th hour. One last reminder for parents: at pick up and drop off our buses will flow through the bus lane in a west-to-east direction. This is an attempt to reduce congestion. Parents dropping off or picking up students will want to use the south parking lot to avoid the bus lane. Other than our buses at pick up and drop off times, traffic will flow through our bus lane in a west-to-east fashion, which is what you are used to. We are excited to see all the students tomorrow!
