Happy Lent Season! No matter what you believe in, Lent can be a season for all of us! We can reflect, re-choose, and re-shape ourselves and our futures! Ash Wednesday for me, begins the Lent Season and as I take a moment to reflect on the true meaning , I prepare for the resurrection of Jesus Christ on Easter Sunday. Traditionally, I choose to give up something during Lent. But are they meaningful things Im giving up or just random things challenging myself to live without? So Ive thought about my past experiences and have decided that this Lent Season I would give up an hour of my time each day to do something other then what I already do. Give that hour to my family and friends to bond face to face. When I come across some negative feelings or people, finding positive ways to re-establish my mindset. Is it easy? No way! Is it meaningful? Absolutely! Just trying to find some ways to peel off any old dead layers of myself and replacing those with a fresh, new, and rejuvenated perspective.
