Happy Monday everyone. Looking back over the last four days we are grateful to so many of you who spent time with us in VT and ME. We started off on Thursday night at the Danby Old Country and Bluegrass festival. What a time we had!!!! It was great seeing our friends in VT and are very thankful that they asked us back this year. Zink & Company closed the show Thursday night after getting a chance to visit with so many of our Danby friends. We also joined Cannonball Express for a song. That was fun!!! Cannonball Express is all my family and it was great to all be sharing the stage together. They did an awesome job as always and we would like to wish Tom Curtis well in his retirement from Drumming. Tom was the first to show me how to play drums when i was still to young to have enough courage to move to the front of the stage. Best wishes from all of us Tom. After our Thursday night show we spent the night with our good friends Charlie, Eva & Jazz Dorr at their place in North Chittenden. These folks certainly know how to make you feel welcome and keep you in stitches. Charlies jokes and stories and Evas warm hospitality made it a pure pleasure staying the night with them. Many Thanks again to The Dorrs. Friday we played two sets and met some new folks that will remain our friends in VT. The entertainment was great and the Danby folks continue to work hard to make sure everyone has a good time. This is a festival you should add to your calandar for next July. Thank to Terry Jesmonth and all of the folks who are a part of this great Fest. We were sad to leave after our second show but glad we were able to be a part of the weekend in Danby. Friday night we arrived in Fort Fairfield at about 1:30 am and settled down to charge up for a greatly anticipated weekend of fun and great Bluegrass entertainment hosted by our friends Stev and Nancy Rogeski. The County Bluegrass Festival is one of our favorites and we always have a blast!!! It is always an honor to be asked back to perform. More to come...........Stay tuned........
