Happy Monday everyone! Sammy is off to the vet today so that we can learn everything we do not know about his health! He has a little bit of a cough which is worrisome (poss heartworm??). In the meantime, the little Chi/JRT mix has gotten some attention. Our friends at Luv Fur Mutts in Cincinnati are very interested in her but are lacking foster space. We would love to find a foster home for this little girl to go to either in KY or OH. If you can help, please contact us or Luv Fur Mutts with an offer to foster. Lastly (for today anyway), we have learned of 2 senior lab mixes in OH who are in serious danger. Their owner passed away last October and his ex wife and mother have been caring for the dogs at his home. His house is now being seized by the bank and animal control will be called when they come to take possession. Animal control has already assured the family that dogs will be PTS. The family is willing to help with boarding costs and to get dogs current on vaccines. We have no pictures of either (male and female 8 yrs old). We are unable to travel to Cincy today to get the dogs, but are able to board them if they can get here! Keeping busy!!
